Brynmill & District AC run 2 waters in the Swansea EnterprisePark on behalf of the City & County of Swansea Local Authority. We are responsible for providing a coarse angling leisure facility for the city, that caters both for the Pleasure, Specimen and Match angler alike. To fish our waters you can either :-
A PERMIT -See link to Prices Structure Opposite
These are available from either Mainwarings Tackle of Sketty, Swansea (tel 01792 202245) or by applying to the Parks & Lettings Dept, of the City & County of Swansea (tel 01792 635436). Permits are also available from HR Jones in Clydach (tel 01792 447819)
All permit applications must be backed up by a passport-sized photo. We would prefer you provided this yourself, though facilities are available in Mainwarings and HR Jones for a picture to be taken of you. No application will be accepted without an acceptable photo. 2015 members do not need a new photo if they give the number of their 2015 membership card when renewing their membership for 2016 - their photos will be on file at the Local Authority offices.
These can be purchased from our bailiff team who roam both the Fendrod Lake and Half Round Ponds armed with ticket books, with the aim of relieving you of your cash. All bailiffs carry official club I.D. cards.
Please note that only season ticket holders may fish overnight on the Fendrod Lake or Half Round Ponds. We no longer allow day ticket holders to fish overnight on either of our waters for fish security reasons. You may be introduced as a "guest" and fish with a full adult member for a 24 hour period. ( full details soon )
Our prices are controlled by the City & County of Swansea with whom we have a long term self management agreement and with whom we have a good relationship in promoting the sport of coarse angling in the Swansea area. Prices are reviewed each April and are displayed opposite. Please note that any comments surrounding either the price or price structure should be addressed to the Local Authority who as mentioned above control both pricing and structure of all leisure activities under their remit. You should not try to make your point either with the Club officials or staff at Mainwarings Tackle or HR Jones as they are not involved with setting either price or class of permits/tickets.
